Ready-made seedling media available at agricultural stores usually have a pH of 6-6.5. Flowers that are ready to be transplanted to pots.

Sowing:

  • Prepare a container for sowing (tray, recycled water cups, seedling tray) and fill it with seedling media. Water until moist.
  • Make planting holes in the seedling media, then place one or two seeds per hole.
  • For small flower seeds, they can be sown in a tray and lightly covered with soil. Then, place the flower seeds.
  • Cover the sowing container with a white plastic sheet to expedite seed germination.
  • Flower seedlings have different germination periods, so observe the seeds daily. Once they have germinated, remove the plastic cover.

Flower maintenance includes:

  • Watering: Water the plants daily once they have grown. If they are still in the seedling stage, avoid watering every day (moist seedling media is sufficient).
  • Fertilization: Fertilize the plants when the flower seedlings have emerged. Use Growmore or NPK pearl fertilizer 16-16-16 at a dosage of 1g per liter. Apply daily by dissolving the fertilizer in the water used for watering the flower planting medium. It is advisable not to let the fertilizer solution come into contact with the leaves or stems of the plants. Simply water the planting medium.

Harvest:

The flowers will bloom on the 55th to 56th day after planting.
